DID YOU KNOW?

  • Fuel (containing ethanol) can begin to break down after a month. It is critical that fuel stabilizer be used in all generators. Store it full so there are no air pockets in the fuel tank. Start it once a month and shut off the fuel shut off to run the fuel out of the carburetor. Choke it and try to start it again as you need to make sure that all of the fuel is out of the carburetor.

  • Portable generators need to be properly grounded (separate ground wire from machine to a grounding rod) prior to use to protect the user. See your owners manual prior to use!

  • If you are running appliances with printed circuit boards, make sure that your generator is "clean power" approved. This will protect your appliances from any potential damage due to power fluctuations.
